just breaking a Heritage 2013 box...

I just opened another half Heritage box of this year, 12 packs with 9 cards. In May i opened my first box, with some good cards in and no doubles. Right now i do have 62 doubles, just mail me, if you need some cards and check my Trade List.

Panini Cooperstown 2012 box break

After a little break i opened my new Cooperstown box of last year. These cards are quite beautiful and i found some good ones. Lets begin with the base set, it goes from 1-150, and the short prints from 151-170.

Base Set:

In the box i found 86 cards in the base set and 2 sort prints. So, 57 % is complete, and 10 % of the short prints. No doubles.

Another ebay trade

Trading Topps 2012

These days i made some trading for my Topps 2012 collection. As you can see, some base cards still missing, last i got the No. 7 Mickey Mantle card. But this time i found some other cards as the Career Day cards of the Series 2 containing 25 cards. I got the Koufax and the Clemente. Right now 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 21, 22, 24, 25 still missing.

Then i got some Mound Dominance cards. Now still missing: 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 13, 14.

Last days i finished a trade, cards arrived today. Some Topps Baseball 2012 cards and some minis. This Time i try to complete the minis. Another trade with some 2012 hits is on its way.

Donald Lutz #2

Donald Lutz, the first german MLB player had a nice MLB debut. Today, the first card arrived, i found on ebay, a 2012 Bowman Chrome card. His MLB statistic are not bad. AB 16, R 2, H 5, RBI 2 and a 0.313 batting average.

Cooperstown and Heritage

Next days some new boxes will arrive. I ordered last years Cooperstown Collection which have some quite nice cards. I am looking forward to break it. Second i ordered a second Heritage box of 2013. Some weeks ago i had my first Heritage box and now try to complete the set.

Some days ago i shuffeld through 2 boxes of this years Topps Series One. in one of my next articles i will write about the base set and some of the hits, but these hits i prefer very much.

Spring Fever, Home Run Legends, Giveaways...

I do have a couple of cards from the last years Million Dollar Chase, the Golden Giveaways, Home Run Legends and this years Spring fever. I am not quite sure if these cards still working, but if someone want to get them, just let me know. Must be about 20-30 cards.

Topps Heritage 2013 Box Break

These days i opened this years Topps Heritage box. In general, the cards are quite nice, solid cards and nice pictures. As you know the Heritage Series is not for hits, although some hits could be find in the box.

First of all, the Base set consists of 425 cards, short prints to 500, parallel cards and some error short prints. A great list of the error cards can be found at "Lifetime Topps project" or at "Cardboard Connection".

Base Set:
In my first box break i got 192 cards with no doubles and 10 cards of the short print set. This is about 45% of the base set complete and 13% of the sort print set. No error cards found.

Donald Lutz

Some german players are in the minors (Gronauer, Kepler, Solbach, Thieben), but last days Donald Lutz made it in the Majors with the Reds. And he began his career near my hometown, so i would be happy if you find some Donald Lutz cards in your collections, hope some Major cards coming soon.

European Baseball Championship 2001

In 2001 the European Championship took place in Germany. The Championship Winner was Netherlands, Germany was seventh. Luckily i found some cards on ebay.
